Korean Gerontological Nursing Society is Korea’s non-profit organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the field of gerontological nursing. KGNS’s principal mission is to promote the conduct of multi- and interdisciplinary research in gerontological nursing by expanding the quantity of gerontological research and to disseminate gerontological research knowledge to researchers, to practitioners, and to decision and opinion makers, and to promote, support, and advocate for gerontological nursing education and training in higher education.

We foster collaboration between researchers, health professionals, policymakers, and the elderly population. We believe the intersection of research from diverse areas is the best way to achieve the greatest impact and promote healthy aging.

KGNS publishes peer-reviewed journal: Journal of Korean Gerontological Nursing.

The society organizes a one-day summer and fall scientific meetings, which attracts the professionals in gerontological areas.
